Y-club is a group sponsored through the Kentucky YMCA. They focus on building character and leadership through service. We attend two conferences during the school year. The first is in the late fall called KYA or Kentucky Youth Assembly. This is a mock Kentucky legislature where students write bills for Kentucky and at the conference debate those bills like a state legislature. The second conference is held in the spring and is a model United Nations, called KUNA. Each school chooses a member nation to represent and debates international proposals at the conference.
