JAG Career Association

Club Sponsor: Ms. Gerton

Students review, research, connect to jobs, work on accountability and employability skills for the future. This Career Association forms community involvement, community services, and community empowerment through a variety of social activities. Students compete with other JAG Associations throughout Kentucky in essay writing, resume and interviewing skills, financial literacy, creative design teams, t-shirt design, and Outstanding Career Association. Our students have 100% graduation and 95% employability rate. Our students participate in community services such as sock drive, Habitat for Humanity, donations to Salvation Army & Goodwill, trash collection, herb garden pots for Defender Cafe, and feeding the homeless shelters. We partner with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth in civic engagement, Guided Realty for real estate education, and Health Education Credit Union for financial literacy.
