Bryan Station High’s softball team closed out a memorable 2026 season with a runner-up finish in the 11th Region tournament. While the Defenders dropped a 4-0 decision to Madison Central on May 30 in Winchester, it was Station’s deepest postseason run in program history. 

With Karsyn Rockvoan as their main pitcher since eighth grade, the Defenders made the region tournament in four seasons out of five and brought home the 42nd District titles in two of the past three years. 

This season was also remarkable in that Bryan Station (15-15) came into the playoffs on a seven-game losing streak after having lost 12 of 14 of its last regular-season games.
