Coach Haggerty is from Fairfield County, Connecticut. He began playing Lacrosse at the age of 7, and is a graduate of Bethel High School where he was a four-year varsity starter for their lacrosse program. He continued his playing career after accepting an athletic scholarship to Colorado Mesa University. Alongside a long playing career, Coach Haggarty has spent multiple years coaching lacrosse and football, and has helped facilitate many community service efforts to help bolster community engagement with youth sports programs in his hometown.
